Born 1950 in Wells Somerset, educated at Wells Cathedral School, where I developed a passion for painting. After leaving school, I went into the building industry, taking my career to the top, this did not allow time for my art. In the year 2000 I became very ill, and eventually had to take early retirement due to my poor health, what should I do with my new found spare time. Naturally I took up art. I am apart from my school days totally self taught. I decided to use water colours a medium I had only dabbled with in the past. I imediately felt at home, and in August 2008 began painting. I am lucky enough to live in one of the most pictuesque areas of Great Britain, the Cotswolds, si there was no lack of visual inspiration. I love the Architecture and the landscapes, for the last 29 months I have always had one or even two painting in progress. Not a day passes by with out some art being achieved. I have been lucky enough to sell many of my paintings, 22 out 68 so far. Which at a time of world recession is not at all bad!
All my works are for sale as originals, these are all individually priced. All works are available as prints as A3 and A4. I have paintings now in New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, and Holland. It sounds a bit boastfull but I have had many plaudits from all over the world. It is woderful to know your efforts are being appreciated.
